After receiving your order through our website or by phone, we ship you a package containing the foillowing items:
1) Two 30 ml urine sample collection bottles with boric acid tablet in it. (Customers outside USA are sent only boric acid tablets. They can buy two hard walled bottles from pharmacy and add one tablet to each bottle)
2) A ziplock bag
3) A small bubble wrap envelop
4) A prepaid, UPS or FEDEX ready-to-ship laboratory pack.
You will need following items from home
5) A disposable paper or plastic cup
6) A disposable plastic spoon
7) A piece of aluminum foil
For the purpose of this test, a menstrual cycle is from start to start.
Samples is collected on any one day near ovulation. If you have a normal 28 day cycle, you can collect either on 13th, 14th or 15th day from period start date. (Example: suppose you started your periods on Jan 1st, you may collect on Jan 14th or Jan 15th or Jan 16th.
If you have irrgular periods, sample is collected when ovulation test is positive.
If you are taking some medicines, it would better to take them after collecting the sample.
On appropriate datecollect midstream early morning urine sample in a paper or plastic cup. Pick-up two teaspoonfuls and drop in one of sample collection bottles. Put sample collection date on the bottle. Cap the bottle and wrap it with aluminum foil, place it in a zip lock bag, seal it and store in freezer. Whenever you go to bathroom next time, collect additional two teaspoonfuls in the same bottle, wrap it with foil again, seal it in the same zip lock bag and store in freezer.
Let it remain there until next month. (if any of family members minds keeping the sample in freezer, you may remove the tube after two hours of freezing and store in a closet at room temperature)
In the following month, collect sample as above in the second bottle and store in freezer for at least two hours. Now you are ready to ship.
