How to collect the FirstGender Test sample:

Please confirm the pregnancy before ordering. We do not perform any pregnancy test nor provide any medical advice.

We all know that as a pregnant woman, you go to the bathroom more frequently at night. Even though this may be annoying to you or may disturb your sleep schedule, this night-time urine is VERY important for the FirstGender Test. So, you must collect urine every time you go to the bathroom if you wake up at night, and then also the first morning urine.

You do not have to collect urine samples during day, such as during work or travel.

Steps:

  • On the first day of collection, you may go to the bathroom immediately before bedtime. Do not collect this sample.

  • If you wake up in the middle of the night, collect midstream urine in any disposable cup and transfer one dropperful to the bottle.  Please dollect EACH time you go to the bathroom and keep adding the urine into the same bottle. Please do not miss any night samples. Then, when you wake up, again collect one dropperful of first morning urine and add to the same bottle.

  • If you do not wake up in the middle of the night and wake up straight in the morning, collect midstream morning urine in a disposable cup. Fill the dropper twice and transfer into bottle.

  • If you feel thirsty in the middle of the night, you may have water (no soft drink please).

  • Repeat sample collection same way for the next night.


How to ship the FirstGender Test sample:

  1. Please make sure that the bottle is properly sealed in a ziploc bag. Place it in the provided bubble wrap envelope and seal it.

  2. Fill out the consent form. Enclose this form and any money order etc. in a separate ziploc bag and place in the prepaid Fedex or UPS laboratory pack provided along with the envelop containing urine sample bottle. Please DO NOT enclose this in any other box. It should be mailed as is.

  3. Note: Do not put ice or dry ice in the package. It will start leaking and will not be delivered.

  4. We report the result within 3 days after receiving your payment and sample. For privacy reasons, we do not call customers to convey the results. You are requested to call or email us to get the report.
